HVZ: Airzone Triple Shot Repaint!
Looks like yet another HVZ gun. This time its a knock off Triple shot. I'm really liking these "zombie" paint jobs. Listed over on Toys R Us for $20. I wonder why this one is cheaper? By the way, with this blaster to be released, has anyone noticed you can make an HVZ Octo-shot? I'll defiantly pick one of these up later.

Update: School is Hard
Summer ends. School starts. Mods slow down. I wish I had more time to Nerf but school comes first (unfortunately). Some of my slowed projects are an Octo-shot, a unique way to single a Longshot, Longshot/ Mav Integration, etc....
Once I get into the groove of things, I'll start plugging out more mods but for now, I gotta get back to my homework. (Sigh...)
Who else shares my pain?

OMW: Blaster Design Contest!
Orange Mod Works is currently running a design contest, details below.
Description: Fans can submit pictures of their best original blaster designs, both external designs and internal workings. Picture(s) deemed the winner wins prize. One winner per category (internal and external designs) will be selected by the Orange Mod Works team. Runners-up may be selected for strong entries that do not win the grand prize.
Rules and Regulations: Pictures must be submitted to the Orange Mod Works forums, in the appropriate contest thread. The contest will be held entirely on the forum. All submissions must be sent there, or they will not be considered valid entries. Entrants can include a text description to accompany their submissions. All submissions must have “Orange Mod Works” written somewhere on the page as a sign of authenticity.
External design pictures must be hand-drawn.
Internal design pictures can be hand-drawn or computer-generated.
The level of detail is up to you, but they will be judging on creativity, feasibility, and general appeal.
Prizes: Winners have a choice in their prize. You may have a fully assembled Recon with Stage 1, Stage 2 (metal or polycarbonate when available), and the custom OMW trigger, or you can choose a non-expiring $50 OMW gift certificate to use on OMW products of your choice. So if you want to wait for other polycarbonate Stage 2 kits or even the upcoming Longshot kit and apply your gift certificate to that, you can. Runners-up will receive prizes at our discretion.
So all you awesome artists, enter for a chance to win! For more info head over to Orange Mod Works and click the contest link at the bottom of the page.

Well, What Were You Expecting?
It turns out that the "big announcement" was just another repaint of the Barricade. In my opinion, this was kinda disappointing. I was hoping that it would be that weird Swarmfire 10 thing:
So Nerf community, what were you expecting?
The Mystery Unveiled; Nerf Barricade, Bumblebee Style!
So what was the big secret? Nerf has released yet another "Transformers" Barricade, this time with everyone's favorite character, Bumblebee!
If you can remember, Hasbro also released an "Optimus Prime" themed Barricade a while back:
I wonder if we will see more of these "Transformers" themed Barricades in the future...
Possibly an "Iron Hide" Barricade?

Which Vortex Gun are You Getting?
So the Vortex line has hit the stores and there has already been some cool mods done to these frisbee throwing monsters. The question is; which one are you getting?
SG Nerf: Nerf N-Strike 18-dart Drum Magazine!
Finally Hasbro is getting the idea! The Alfa Trooper's 18 round drum mag is being sold by itself. So for all of you Nerfers who were going to buy the Alfa Trooper just for the clip, think again! Hopefully we'll see a Raider Drum mag set in the future too! :) Head over to SG Nerf for more details.
