wow. just looked up the supermaxx. they really do look very similar. Heck it's possible that the company bought the designs off em for cheap to get into the watergun business. Nerf probably wouldn't care, those are old news to them. Especially with the craziness of clip system water blasters now. I never thought I'd see a clip on a squirtgun when I was a kid. nice find though, especially if someone is looking for a vintage style squirtgun.
