Modified Jolt: Now, Even Smaller!

So I was bored one night an I decided that I wanted to upgrade the Jolt I got from Soloz1 during our modparty.  So I made this:

So small!
Thats right!  I made the worlds smallest Nerf blaster EVEN SMALLER.  :D

Primed

It really wasn't hard to do at all.  I followed iamthatcat/ revisionfive's informative write-up that you can find here.  Its basically a matter of chopping off the original barrel, and sanding it down until a 1/2 cpvc coupler can fit on.

Down the barrel, unprimed
Down the barrel, primed

I used a keyring to replace the old handle, but I think I'm probably going to switch back.

For this modification, I replaced the spring with a Buzz Bee Rogue spring.  Its really powerful!

Overall, I like this blaster.  I'm not sure when I will use it, but its a nice little pocket rocket and an easy mod to do.  :)

Lastly, heres a firing vid:

  1. That is really awesome actually. I've seen a number of inline jolts but this is definitely my favorite.
You need to do a range vid. It seems to fire well, and I'd love to see how far it goes.

    1. I'll try to get up a range test vid. I think the ranges are around 40-50', but I don't remember. I still have to upgrade the seal so that it is perfect, hopefully I can get maybe 5-10 more feet from that. This was just a fun little project that I whipped up when I was bored the other night, and it turned out nice. Jolts are fun to play around with. :)

  3. I really like your version and am interested in the way you did your trigger. If you could post an exploded pic of just the trigger I would be really grateful. Nice job!

    1. I actually just cut and wedged a small spring underneath the trigger. It can (kinda) be seen in the 6th pic. I'll post an exploded pic of the trigger though. :)
